Religious education is necessary for more than Sacramental Preparation it is necessary to prepare your child for a life as a Holy Catholic person, making their journey to Heaven.
This is a greater gift than sports or any outside activity they might participate in, as this feeds the soul which lives longer than the body. This is a gift for eternity!
At Baptism, we parents and Godparents promised God that we would raise our children in the Faith that Christ gave to the world- The One Holy Catholic Apostolic Church. While the home is the primary place for this instruction,your home parish is here to help with this great responsibility.
